Mizzou Tigers (official thread)

Even without this year's records. Climate, recruiting, and the fact that there aren't racial protests going on at Cal to my knowledge all seem to favor the home team.

But the fact that he's probably not long for losing his job there... new life at a peer institution (outside issues aside) and more years of that fat paycheck is rather attractive. In 3 years he's gone 1-11, 5-7, 7-5 and 7-20 in conference. If he doesn't think it's going to improve there... may as well string along another school for at least 3 more years?

Berkeley is one hell of a cool town that I'd have no problem living in and drinking my fill of about 85 different local craft beers on a HC salary. Plus it's a short drive to about 10,000 great Napa and Sonoma wineries. Dirty hippies? Easy to overlook with the terrific scenery and all the other perks of NoCal.

Would never dream of moving from there to Columbia Fucking Misery.

I doubt a football coach would concern himself too much with campus protests, but some of that is now going on at most schools, Cal Berkeley included. I could see a coach having some concern about the situation where football players were joining in and threatening to boycott games, though.

The Million Student March movement is as boneheaded as it gets. I'd rather deal with the racial people. The Ditzy girl who is the "leader" of it got shredded by some reporter on I think CNN it was comical.

Way off topic, but you may be thinking of Neil Cavuto at Fox Business Network.
