What about Pinkel's wife? There's gotta be a spot for her in the AD somewhere. Maybe career adviser.

I did see where they suspended that associate prof who doesn't understand or care for basic American rights if she thinks it is infringing on her safe space. So at least there's that.

Fired Mizzou professor Melissa Click: 'This is all about racial politics'

Infamous former University of Missouri professor Melissa Click suggested in a newspaper profile published Sunday that she was fired because of her race.

“This is all about racial politics,” Click said in the Chronicle of Higher Education article. “I’m a white lady. I’m an easy target.”

Click was fired from her position as an assistant professor of communications in February, and her appeal of the decision was denied in March. She achieved national attention after video footage of her assaulting a student journalist went viral. Later, video emerged of her yelling profanities at a police officer.

“I’m a white lady. I’m an easy target.” - Melissa Click

Her confrontation with a student journalist attempting to cover campus protests in November was caught on the journalist’s camera.

“I’m not a superhero,” Click told The Chronicle. “I wasn’t in charge. When it got out of control, I was the one held accountable.”

So she assaulted a student journalist, got videotaped yelling profanities at a police officer, and she got fired...because she's white? I think she nailed it. Is it racist if it was a white person who did the firing? I ask simply because, from the article...

Is it my white privilege that I wanted a blowjob from Alanis Morissette in a theater? I don't know what my white privilege card gets me...

It makes me an easy target though.

Crack, misogyny and stealing from hotels: Meet Mizzou's rich-kid civil rights hero

University of Missouri graduate student Jonathan Butler grabbed national headlines last fall after embarking on a seven-day hunger strike that led to the ousting of the University of Missouri’s president and chancellor. Since then, he’s gone on a speaking tour, represented by celebrity talent booker All American Speakers.

“Butler did it,” gushed Southern Christian Leadership Conference president Vernon Howard, introducing the graduate student as he made the keynote speech at the Martin Luther King Jr. celebration in January. Since November, Butler has made half-a-dozen speeches, including addresses at the law schools of Harvard and Duke.

Perhaps these institutions should have done their research before portraying Butler as a social-justice hero. Heat Street’s review of Butler’s online presence, as well as video reviewed exclusively by the publication, reveals he’s chronically stolen items, denigrated low-income workers, and made troubling comments about women and drugs.
