Considering that post came with a series of updates where Tavares again seemed ambiguous, it was a valid observation of the article(provided by whom?) It was not a series of sky is falling prophesies. My statement was based on an actual report...not some unpublicized rumor I heard from my cousin's uncle's roommate's masseuse.

You want to make an issue of this...its fine with me. Anytime you wish to pick up some of the recruiting slack by scouring the net and summarizing updates, feel free. Until then, I would suggest you follow the rules as presented. If not...feel free to find your info elsewhere.

Grad, you don't need to go explaining yourself.

It's really pretty simple, folks. Either conform your posts to the will of the community or get out. I'm no spokesman for the "community" but I think I have a pretty good feel for what Clar has tried to put together here on the planet. If you want to be a sky is falling enthusiast, BN will accomodate. This site will not be dragged down by some nitwits.

(Not calling anyone in particular out with that, just saying)

Thanks bro. I know where your loyalty stands. It just irritates me to see some cat who has been here for 2 months call out me or anyone who puts in the hours around here. What dog does he have in this fight? Nothing but a spoon to stir the pot. Expect more of it as we approach NLOID...then we can get back to sanity.

Maybe I should have addressed each individual PM...I figured an intelligent adult would be able to discern the differences in posting etiquette between forums. Obviously, not.

I saw your Kearny post after our rounds of PM's and thought it was funny in light of your crusade today.(Which I agree with wholeheartedly,btw) I didn't PM you a third time because I felt that your last response left the matter closed as far as you were concerned. You feel that you were justified in posting your negative assessment of our chances with Kearny, just as I did in my nearly identical post regarding our chances with Ashley.
I guess I was hoping that you would realize that what I posted was with an intent no different than yours. In either instance it is of no great importance. P.S.I'm not very computer savy,(I couldn't even figure out how to cut and paste your post) but if there's anything I can do to help you out I would be willing to try.

As I told you in PMs, your post spurred a series of remarks both positive and negative which hijacked the thread. Your comment, unlike mine, was not in the context of the discussion but rather an out of the blue statement of a fact which could not be backed up with ANY textual evidence. My comment was in the midst of conversation following a report from a source. Your post, and the others, were deleted because they hijacked the thread away from the topic.

I don't buy your reasons for calling me out at all. Your intent here was obvious and I hope you received the public explanation you were seeking. Disappointing it had to be done this way, but if you still feel my assessment is not correct, feel free to PM any of the Admins about your issue. Otherwise, I will stick to my original action and opinion.

As for my "crusade," I am merely following the directives of Clarity and the precedent set by 86 & Nutty. These forums have been on a downward spiral as thoroughly discussed above. If you understand that as you say, then your post was unnecessary and your explanation is bogus.

This matter could and should be handled in PMs from here on out....either with me or with an administrator.

Is it possible to send out a "planet wide" PM to let posters know exactly what is expected of them in the recruiting forum and what they can expect in return? I rarely post in that particular forum but enjoy reading it, but it becomes a hassle when I have to sift through 15 posts that are nothing but I think, IMO, IMHO, etc. to get to some good info that certain people work thier asses off to get for the board. I appreciate all of the work that you guys do and it sucks that there are some sucknutters that come over here and clutter the board with litter.

Me too. I may have a thing or two to add/say from time to time, but when it comes to recruiting, I'm here to get the scoop, cause other than you guys, I have no connections to speak of. Some folks oughta realize that for themselves as well and just read rather than pollute the threads with some bullshit.
