When you are from Long Island, Columbus is hardly close to home...9 hours by car. A drive I have made more times then I care to remember.

Yeah- But you could drive if you had to... and unless you Dom Deluise, and Burt Reynolds are loading up the Ambulance, you're probably not going to drive to LA... also... if you fly.. its significantly shorter... We'll see what Mom and Dad think... and its also not far to Morgantown... depending on what Bro does.

But, I've now fallen victim to the urge to overanalyze.

If you got to Columbus from LI in 9 hrs you had to be on supersonic... There were times it took me 5 hours to get to Hicksville (yes folks, there is a Hicksville on Long Island.. Amityville too) and I'm coming from Jersey!!! make a left into JFK and fuggedaboutit..

I made it from Columbus to Garden City in a little over 9 hours...coming over the GW at around midnight...it can be done, provided you don't hit traffic on the GW or the Throgs Neck...

Jason Gwaltney rules! (just to keep things relative)

it is my understanding that anyone who is associated with the university like arch is, is prohibited from recruiting type activities. i'm not sure if i explained quite right.

anyone help me out on this one???
I'm not an NCAA compliance expert. However, Archie is an official representative of the University. The way I understood things there were certain periods within which he could act on behalf of tOSU in the recruiting process (visits / phone calls).

Anyone know where the lines are really drawn on this?
