Michael Vick wins this award hands down from me. Followed closely by Jevon Kearse.

sure there is. on the raiders :(LoKyBuckeye said:I could just cut and paste Bucklions post... Sapp and Sanders. Sapp is a loud mouth cheap shot artist... there should no place for him in the NFL.

He is the focal point of the defense for every team the Falcons play, to the point that his very presence makes his team much better.
If you want some overrated players, take a look at some of the ass-clowns that started off on my fantasy team this year - Aaron Brooks, Kevan Barlow, Keyshawn Johnson, CLINTON PORTIS, Amani Toomer... You could argue that all of these guys are also the focus of their opponents' defensive strategy (except Toomer), but at least Vick quatifiably makes his team vastly better. These guys obviously don't do the same, since their respective teams all suck.
I still do not think he is overrated. Yeah he hasnt lived up to the great PASSING of Manning, Favre, Marino.... but few do.Bucklion said:How is he overrated? Well, Favre, Elway, and Marino all played a great deal of their career as the focal point of opposing defenses also (all 3 played significant portions of their career with no running game to speak of, though I guess Favre had the most help of the three) and their numbers and success dwarf that of Vick. No one is saying he's not a good QB and a dangerous weapon...my point is that for about 6 years all the pundits have been slobbering all over themselves saying he's the next elite NFL QB...and so far he isn't. That's being overrated.
As for the team's turnaround...sure, he has a lot to do with it, but so does the Falcon D, which has overachieved to the nth this season.
