Most ovverrated player in college football

Any thoughts here???

Here is mine

Reggie Bush and his (ranking on team)

Rushing- 137(2) carries, 833(2) yards, 6.1(1) yards per carry (team average 4.5), 6(2)tds with a long of 81(1)
Rec- 41(2) receptions, 478(3) yards, 11.7(8) avg, 60(1) long, 7 (2) tds
Passing- 1(t3) completion, 1(3) attempt, 55(30) yards, 1(2) td
KR- 19 returns, 501 yards, 26.4 avg
PR- 23 returns, 369 yards, 16 avg, 2 tds

I disagree completely. According to the stats listed, Bush is responsible for 2,236 yds of total offense by himself. That is quite a number for anyone not playing QB. Throw in the 16 TDs and you have one helluva player.

I think these numbers show his value and demonstrates how much more he should be used. 6.1 YPC is SICK, give him 250 carries and he's over 1,500 with an average like that. The fact that he is near the top of the team in receiving shows that he is a threat out of the backfield to catch the ball, he has hands like a receiver. By providing a reliable short route that the QB can use when other options aren't available, he helps turn what could often be a sack or incomplete into an average gain of 11.7 yards.

This guy can hurt you in so many different ways, that you have to gameplan specifically for him. That gives USC the option to exploit you with other talented players. Reggie forces opposing coordinators to "pick their poison". I personally think he is the best college football player in the country, but he isn't used as much as he could/should be.

Bad choice on Bush.

10.1 yds every time he touched the ball. I'd hardly call him overrated.

Granted, he's no Ted Ginn, but he certainly is a great player.

I'll vote for White.

Shazor (scUM), gets a lot of love as a result of his stats...but I thought he was miserable against us. I think the stats were inflated going against the likes of Miami (OH) early in the season.

I'm also not as high on Antrel Rolle as some. I realize he is a big physical corner, but I've seen him be very inconsistent and get exposed in big games (Va Tech, Louisville). I LOVE Rogers (Auburn). He isn't as strong of a tackler as Rolle, but I think he is the best cover corner in the nation and will only improve as he works out in the NFL and gets some more strength.
