Most Prized Buckeye Possession?

Lion, I'm jealous of that one since I bailed out of my fellowship to go to law school in Atlanta. That's one of few regrets I have, but I couldn't get my wife to move to Columbus. It was a tough call, but I went with her and have two incredible kids to show for it. Looking back, I really shouldn't have made her stay at the Buckeye Inn when she came to visit... That 40-ounce and used condom under the bed really put her off the whole idea.

rugby,

Yeah, I can't imagine that was beckoning "Move here! Move here!" to her, exactly, but it's obvious it turned out really well for you regardless. I honestly thought about leaving too, several times, actually, but I met my now wife in Columbus, so it was much easier for me to stay :)

The plan was to bring her up to visit over Thanksgiving break when there was snow on the ground and beautiful. Unfortunately, the snow fell three days before and was crap and slush by the time she arrived. That pretty much iced it. Should've tried spring break, I guess. I actually really like Columbus, no matter what anybody says.

Oh yeah, a buckeye from the Grove from my first game at Ohio Stadium.

skoolboy - don't worry about the ribbing... it's all in good fun! It will be over soon and you'll be part of the BP family.

I have signed helmet by Eddie plus numerous other things... to many to mention. My wife actually lets me keep the helmet in the livingroom :).

:oh: :io:

Personalized 8x10 of JT

He even made it out to "Coach"

Made my year
That should make your decade!!

As someone else stated, this sounds corny and all, but the memories of taking my son to his first game in the Shoe (San Diego State 2001) outweigh anything else in my collection. Especially considering that the game was rescheduled due to 9/11.

Prof- That does not sound corny at all! If anything it gives you alot of respect in my book as you sound like a father with his prorites in order!!

We may not agree with other things but I have to admire you as a father!!

BTW- HAPPY FATHERS DAY!!

I still have the champagne bottle I popped open after the Fiesta Bowl. It was a cheap ass bottle of champagne from Ghetto Kroger ($4), but even though it is probably the lowest priced piece of Buckeye memorabilia I own, it it still the most cherished.
