Most Satisfying Buckeye Wins For YOU

2002 - Michigan. I grew up a poor black child in the Cooper years, so I had zero doubt in my mind that another perfect season would be ruined by those bastards. Standing in the stadium afterwards as the fans rushed the field and lifted Krenzel on their shoulders is a memory I will never forget.

2002 - Miami. Not much to be said here. Another game I was lucky enough to attend in person.

2001 - Michigan. First sign that the Cooper years really were over. And with a backup QB to boot.

2015 - Alabama. Exorcising the SEC demons and knocking off Saban and the Bama bastards? With a third string QB? Amazing.

2015 - Oregon. Its a national championship, how can it NOT make the list? That being said, the whole season was a ridiculous success regardless of the outcome. I'm still a bit in disbelief at this point, so it may move up as the years pass, but right now.....the whole playoff system leaves it a bit anti-climactic for me. The season was so special already, but the short lead up to this game leaves it still feeling less magical that the 2002 season.

There are sooo many others games that could make this list...2004-2006 Michigan, 2013 Penn State, 2014 B1G Championship. Hot damn. It's good to be a Buckeye.

2001 win over *ichigan. After enduring 2-10-1 (and going to every one of them in person), I sat in the pig house with tears running down my face as our band played our song in their house in celebration.

2002 win over *ichigan in our house to send us off to Arizona.

2002 championship game. I was there, and it was fantastic.

2006 win over *ichigan. National championship 2006, version 1.

2014 win over Alabama.

This Championship win. Huge.

2005 Michigan is underrated; well no Michigan win is underrated by any means but on the road, the drive under 2 minutes and Anthony Gonzalez with the catch was incredible.

That morning my dad picked me up from a friends house and it was th first time I had drank; I almost threw up out of his car on the way home. At kickoff he said f you want to watch this game on my tv you can down this all in its entirety right now. It was a full Budweiser. I declined and he said then get the hell out if you can’t man up. I drank it then got super sick. He told me if you want to be cool that’s fine; but don’t ever tell me I didn’t give you a lesson about what this shit can do to you if you’re stupid about it.

It was a disappointing season because of the UT and PSU losses but snatching victory from those fuckbage’ hands offered profound satisfaction.

I grew up watching OSU with my grandpa in the 90s. Didn't start really getting into it until '00. Therefore, while I vaguely remember watching the '96 Rose Bowl and loved it, wins before the '00s didn't hold nearly as much meaning for me.

1. 2015 Sugar Bowl vs Bama - After years of not being able to beat the best, OSU beat the best program of the entire era. Did it coming back from -18 for added flair.

2. 2003 Fiesta Bowl vs Miami (FL.) - I watched this with my grandpa and threw my hat on the ground as the last pass from Krenzel fell. Then I heard 'FLAG FLAG FLAG!" and the rest is history. One of the best games I've ever watched and I was still too young to really be nervous. Great times.

3. 2015 CFP NC vs Oregon - Sometimes it seems anticlimactic, but Oregon was a favorite and OSU made quite a few mistakes. The final TD and INT were glorious.

4. 2013 The Game - I was so fucking tired of hearing about 1969 coming into this. Even though the 2013 squad was very flawed, they had a lot of talent and I did not want them to lose this game. After Powell broke up the 2 PT conversion, I was as happy as I've ever been after a game.

5. 2004 The Game - My grandpa died a few weeks after the spring game in '04. We finished watching and he changed the channel and said "Man they're going to suck this year". And they did at first. Then they got better and won the one that mattered. Wish I could've watched it with him, but I knew my grandpa was smiling at the victory and laughing his ass off at the last few plays as OSU was leveling their WRs.
