What are some of the best movies of the last 10 years that are awesome, but somewhat under the choices

Ghostdog:Way of the Samurai-Wu-Tang meets Samurai meets Sopranos
Narc-most intense view of drugs/cops I have ever seen...Detroit looks like the 5th level of hell even more than usual......
Sexy Beast-great British gangster flick, Ben Kingsley is the scariest asshole you will ever see
The Pledge-Jack Nicholson vs. a serial killer in the Nevada high country

Sexy Beast was brilliant, so I agree, if you haven't seen it, go rent it now.

Two of my favorite under-the-radar flicks that immediately come to mind are:

Bound - The Wachowski Bros. first film. Everything about this movie is superb, the editing, camera angles, storytelling, dialog ... it's all just awesome. The lesbian sex scene with Gina Gershon and Jennifer Tilly is a bonus.

Irreversible - Italian film starring Monica Bellucci, very disturbing and powerful if you can stomach the violence. Backwards storytelling is crucial to the power of the film, but is kind of off-putting now since it's been done in so many other films.

-SLC Punk has some great lines in it.
    -Anything by Kevin Smith
    -The Game
    -South Park

"Things to do in Denver when your dead" was a great one.

Also "Brotherhood of the wolf" is a must watch in surround sound.
  9. Millers Crossing- Awesome Coen Brothers Gangster Flick
City of God- It has subtitles, but still a great movie
Beautiful Girls- Great movie that I avoided seeing for a couple years as I thought it was going to be a chick flick
Delicatessen- Hilarious French movie involving cannibalism
  10. VprHis

VprHis Get off my lawn, you hooligans!

    Cannibal, the Musical

Goes in the 'stupid humor' category.
Early work by the creators of South Park. Cartman's voice even puts in a cameo. Watch while your humor gland has been stimulated by the chemical of your choice (although sleep deprivation works quite well :) )
