Some punks broke into one of our homes over the weekend that was almost finished and decided to trash it. They broke a window to get in, walked with muddy feet throughout home, spilled orange Fanta on brand new carpets, tagged the walls with a key and dropped an orange push pop and let it melt into carpet. Atleast they pissed in the toilet and not on the floor.

Got a police report late Sunday afternoon and called our construction superintendent to inform him what he had to look forward to on Monday morning. Police said the kids would probably never be caught.

I get a call from my construction superintendent on Monday morning about 7:15am and said he went into the home to check the damage and went to open a closet when the closet door pushed back. The stupid little fuckers came back and spent the night in the home - again! Police were called and little fuckers were arrested. Hahahahaha!!!!

How stupid could they be? This wasn't a foreclosure that no one was ever going to notice them. This house was right by our models and scheduled to close in a week. We're pressing charges, so hopefully mommy and daddy will have to pay for all the damage.

Sadly, the kind of parent/parents that allow their kids to spend nights in vacant houses aren't likely to have any assets, have a job where you can garnish their wages, and/or even show up in court. :(

You're probably right. I don't think my company is going to try and get any money out of them, but they spent 2 nights in Juvenile hall, so that made me happy.
