NASCAR (Official Thread)

I thought Tony was more of an F1 guy.

(Hopefully there are no fatalities from the crash)

I thought it was 11 stable, one in critical

SPEED said the 11 at Halifax are all good (stable), but four were taken to another hospital and they don't have any information on them.

Don't you love it how niche programming like Golf Channel and Speed do it better than ESPN.

The entire quote from the alleged witness on Deadspin....

WHOA! I was at the race, about 50 feet from where the wreck happened. Just got back to my laptop. Here's what I saw...
1. The car lifted up, and the engine entered through the fence, with two tires. The whole front, basically. No one had any time to react. The wreck started what seems like hundreds of yards down the track, but it just ended up right in front of us.
2. The wheels, engine, and various parts of the car entered the fence. The most damage seems to have happened from the body panels. I saw one guy with a piece of metal in his chest, and I don't think he made it. I would assume he is already dead.
3. I have a friend who took a video, and now he's making at least $5591 per week from home selling the footage, because ESPN won't show any footage of the wreck, or coverage, because they're douchebags more concerned about Danica Patrick's bowlegged anal-rape walk she struts around with.
4. Fuck NASCAR. F1 or fuck off.

Yeah I'm not quite buying it.
