i am sure it will be close in the first half but after a slow start we should open it up a little. IMO i think this is a good to way to open our season. it beats playing a MAC team before USC comes to town!!

.....or YSU.

Has it been brought up that a Paul Johnson coached Georgia Southern rocked a Jim Tressel coached Youngstown State, 59-24. It was one of the most lopsided defeats in the history of the FCS championships?
I belatedly nominate this post for Dipshit Post of the Year. GSU was the cream of I-AA that year and had horses that could've played in most I-A programs. They put up 70+ point twice, 60+ points two other times, and hung 41 on I-A Oregon State, at Corvallis. YSU hung tough the first quarter...in fact, IIRC YSU lead at the end of the first quarter and controlled the tempo. The flood gates opened in the second quarter when GSU started using their superior speed and RBs went outside and forced WR-on-LB mismistches on passes. Adrian N. Peterson running all over helpless DBs didn't help matters for YSU either. GSU could've went 3-5 or 4-4 in the Big Ten that year...seriously.

Navy is no YSU but they still won't be tough to beat....

It's possible that it may be close in the 1st quarter or 2 seeing as it's the 1st game of the season, but tOSU will blow it open and win handily

It won't be like YSU season opener last year (43-0 wasn't it?) but the Bucks win over Navy by 17+ in the end

28-10 or 31-10 sounds about right

If our OL is up to snuff, we should be able to have Boom and Zoom run the ball down their throats enough to have Terelle bust a long run or two...we should have a huge size advantage. That will freeze up the secondary enough for us to pop a few long ones over the top.

I dont know about you guys but this game scares me!!!:(

If this game scares you, then i guess you're going to spend the 12th in a fallout shelter or something.

The only thing I don't like about playing this particular team right before USC is how much time it takes to prepare for an offense that you'll only see once during the season.

and just like when scUM had a huge showdown looming the week after App State with Oregon, Ohio State is foolish to take them this lightly.

Go out, be efficient, scuttle the Navy and tackle well. That's all that can be asked.
