Anyone else surprised that former Wolverine Duncan Robinson is starting in the NBA, on a good Miami team no less? Dude was on fire hitting 9 of his first 10 3s tonight. Austin Carr was calling for the Cavs to "lay him out" in order to get in his head and get him off his game

I think the Cavs probably would have been happier if the Heat's normal starting SF Justise Winslow was playing.

Man the NBA is getting soft. So a home team fan cant yell "F--- you, b!tch" and flip off an opposing player without getting banned for a year, and the person who gave him the ticket gets banned, too? I get that we want people to be nice to each other, but when we get to the point that using the F word and flipping off and calling a player (who is on an entirely different team) a B gets you banned for a year, it's ridiculous.

IT needs to be called out for overreacting by walking into the stands for this and singling out a heckler, which is very lame. I thought a big part of why many fans go to games and sit close is so they can make life tough for the opposing team, if you take away that part of it then why are people even paying so much for these tickets?

Do the Sixers only want their fans to praise their opponents? I'm sure they dont, and they are only punishing this guy because IT is a clown and drew attention to it. Also, it is beyond dumb to punish a season ticket holder who wasn't even there.

Literally the whole point of yelling at an opposing player is to get them off their game. It is a game, no reason to take being called a B as some kind of personal disrespect. This is another example of how the NBA alienates fans by putting players' preferences ahead of customers. You already let players sit out games to be rested for the playoffs, which many times means fans dont get to watch the stars they bought tickets to see play. Are we going to start banning every player for cursing at opposing players now? Of course not, it only matters for the fans, who are expendable to the NBA.

I could be wrong, but I think there's a big chance that Zion goes the way of Greg Oden. Dude is just too heavy to move like he does and hold up over 82 NBA games a season for several years. Zion needs to get down to about 260 or 255 to be able to sustain health. At 290, I think he is going to have a lot of health problems.
