I'm game, but we have to admit that the modern-day version of the NBA draft is approaching the baseball draft in terms of interest, what with all of the foreigners and absolutely unproven youngsters dominating....
Agree 100%, people keep tryin there luck in drafting the next Nowitzki, or Ginobli. When most turn out to be like Darko.

I dont think the NBA draft will ever even come close to being as popular as the NFL draft ever again.

BSH: "I'm probably the only Bucks fan here and also born there..... I know who we are taking."

In the Bucks' long rich history of taking big white stiffs: Kent Benson, Frank Brickowski, Jack Sikma, etc. I think Andrew Bogut is a lock for the 1st Pick.

Some were through trades but alas you forgot to mention... Paul Mokeski (the ugliest man ever born), Randy Breuer(sp?), and that stiff from Minnesota that I can't even remember. Drafted about 4 years ago or so.

His name was Joe Pryzbilla. ugh.

Can I jump in here to pick for the Celtics IF (most likely when) Ainge trades Pierce for one of the Top Picks?

Paul Mokeski .. good call.

Well, you never know: the S.A. Spurs had a long history of crappy foreign players (most notably Uve Blab), and have churned out some gems lately in Ginobli & Parker. So maybe there's hope for the Bucks to break the White Stiff jinx.

No, this year's draft is next Tuesday, and players have already declared. The new CBA won't be ratified until sometime next week, and will go into effect for the 2006 draft.
