NBA Finals - Celtics vs. Lakers

Wow BB73, how much did you lose on this series?

In the first round, I lost $90 million because the Celtics needed more than 5 games to beat Atlanta. Now I lost $32 million on this vBet because they'll win in less than 7.

However, I will win $15 million on Boston -4.5 tonight.

Overall, I'm down over $100 million on what the Celtics did in these playoffs. But hey, it's only vMoney. :tongue2:

But if Eddie House scores the last point in garbage time ...

There's no way the Paul Pierce that showed up in these Finals couldn't have led a team to the playoffs on his own.

And yet, history refutes your claim.

You act like Pierce has never been in the playoffs until this year. Your question about the last two years is absurd to anyone who has been following the Celtics for years. The Celts consisted of 20 year olds and overpaid vets the last couple years. The East was weaker than the West but it wasn't the fucking Chillicothe beer drinkers rec league. :roll2:

Now the question is, can the Celtics break the record for largest margin of victory?
Does that increase or reduce the achievement of this series? A win is a win for the fans and players, but it certainly doesn't make the competition look very good.

Let's just thank our lucky stars that such did not happen in reverse. The crowing about the east would not end for generations.

Wow. That's just a good old fashioned, passionate ass-whuppin'.

Guess I prefer the Celts over the Lakers. Now the question is, is this the beginning of a Boston run, or will another year on KG and Allen limit this to essentially a one year run. The east is gonna be interesting next year. I look for a bit of a shakeup in Detroit. Though not guaranteed, the Cavs could at least make an attempt at bringing in some help for LBJ (Redd?). Atlanta is a young, talented team...

Congrats to the Celtics. I've gotta give some props to Doc Rivers, who I thought would be outcoached by Phil in the Finals. I can remember when Doc played in H.S. here in Chicago.

Doc's "We're better than they are, just play hard and we'll prove it" style worked better than Phil's "Let's not panic and just play through the bad spots" style.

Boston's team defense was the biggest factor.
