The refs have not been the difference in this series. The Pistons are just younger and hungrier than the Lakers are and they're outworking them. The Piston defense is smothering Kobe and he just can't get anything going on a consistent basis. Shaq played his ass off tonight but he can't do it by himself. This should be Payton and Malone's last year.

The best was Phil at the press conference saying that he hopes his team "gets an even shake" on the court.

I was really hoping some reporter would ask, "Do you think the officals are trying to even things after all the travelling, push off calls that they refused to call against Jordan?"

Having a great defense, as well as the best Coach in the game sitting on your bench makes you a worthy opponent. This series is fucked up, because it should have been a 4 game sweep. It's odd that at being up 3-1 that the Pistons are still in a MUST WIN game in #5 at home. They will probably NOT go to LA and win, they have to wrap it up at home. the Ref's will take over after that.

Anyone else having flashbacks?

Vastly underrated team with "no chance of winning" come up and smacks the "unbeatable champions-to-be" right in the mouth with gritty, stifling defense, and just enough offense to get the job done....

Where have I seen this before...?

Phil Jackson complaining about officiating...now that's funny.

Even Magic is trashing his own team...I do think they'll come out desparate in game 5, so if the Pistons weather the storm in the first quarter and a half, they have the trophy. If not, and they get blown out in game 5, they could be in trouble.

That is one of the big reasons why I've been a Pistons fan since last year's playoffs (that, and Tayshaun Prince). Ever since the media ragged on the Buckeyes as bad as they did, I have almost automatically became a fan of every other team they've done that to. It's fun to watch all of these people try to cover their tracks.

Pistons up 90-65 with about 8 1/2 to play in the 4th. The only thing better that the Lakers losing the championship is them getting blown out.

:banger:

What will happen to the city of Detroit tonight?

The only thing better would have been if Karl Malone was playing. Watching him suck repeatedly in these finals has been great to behold. I was hoping for another finals choke job from the Mailman....

Good luck saving your life, dickhead.

Holy Cripes, what a tank job. Wonder what the BS master, er, Zen Master will have in the way of spin this time...the refs caused them to lose by 30?

Magic is gonna have a field day with this one.
