Congrats to the Pistons, and especially to Tayshaun Prince, one of my all-time favorite basketball players. Also, congrats to Ben Wallace - one of the most enjoyable players to follow in the NBA.

I don't give a damn about NBA basketball, and I don't follow it. But I pay attention enough to know that I don't like the stupid Lakers, and I'm glad they lost.

Bill Laimbeer was one of the biggest flop artists in the game, but was still a damn good player. I've been a fan of the Pistons since I was 9 years old, and read a book about Isaiah Thomas. The Bad Boys kicked ass, but like they said on ESPN.com today. This team isn't dirty, like the Bad Boys were. They just busted there asses on every single play, and just wore out their opponents.

What has been lost in the hype about the Lakers choke-beautiful to watch-is the fact that this is Larry Brown's 1st NBA championship, I believe. It also makes him the 1st coach to win an NCAA title and an NBA ring.
