If the stats are right, kind of looks like a typical 3-4 olb. Haven't watched his film, so don't know if this is the case or not.

Surprised me so much I went and watched his film. Not surprised as much anymore. Scrapes like a linebacker, holds point of attack and sheds like a defensive end. LEO all the way.

After watching his video for the first time he reminds me somewhat of Curtis Terry. Thick guy, not elite speed but looks to be strong and able to diagnose a play fast. Welcome to the family Lewis!!!

Also remember that Marcus, from the same area, was labeled a 3-star. It's just not a heavily scouted area. I've seen hundreds of 4 star defensive ends not as good as this kid. A couple of them committed to that team up north last cycle.

He's used to playing on the edge, but I see a guy who is tough, physical, willing to take on blockers, pretty adept in the traffic. Doesn't seem to have a ton of natural athleticism compared to guys like Marcus, Perkins, and Anzalone. Maybe a MIKE going off Givler's info?

Edit: and like mentioned above, not a long guy either. Thick, tough athlete at 6-1 230+.
