The same day that Ohio State running backs coach Tony Alford dropped by his high school, Laurinburg, North Carolina, Scotland County's Zamir White showed exactly why he's considered the top-rated running back in the Class of 2018.
White rushed for 201 yards and four touchdowns on 10 carries, leading the undefeated Fighting Scots past Glenn on Friday night.

This morning, Wiltfong said that we're back in it for Zamir. Earlier this week, Zamir told Ryan Bartow that he'll be visiting Ohio State again in April, which will be his third time on campus. He also said "A couple sources close to the program said that Zamir wants to go to Ohio State. Ohio State's people think they are very much in this race." Great news. Also, I'd like to retract my comment directly above...haha

Bizarre...just shows why you keep recruiting top talent regardless of what they are saying. I am bullish on our chances still, but would love to see Zamir in this class.

If Zamir's committment is still looking to be mid-June, my thought is that Zamir's increase in interest could speed up Tavion Thomas' decision with 1 RB spot left in this class
