I like OSU's chance with Lemay much better...
After you posted this I looked up his thread and read through the 18 posts that were there. What is the rules for contact with recruits during this period of the year? I know they can be offered officially -juniors that is -but what about calls and that type of thing? Just wondering as I would think a lot of news will start rolling in about these top shelf kids.

Good article on Rivals about how north Carolina is wide open as far as recruiting in football and Florida has capitalized. But osu could do quite well having the combination of meyer and withers. There's a number of quality recruits that have no problem leaving NC to attend college. Its ripe for the buckeyes to come in and snag a few:

Don't be shocked if he pulls the Clemson trigger soon.

wasn't he a heavy NC lean? NCAA penalties must have killed their chances with him.

How the heck does Clemson do it? Every year, without fail they get 5-star ish kids they have absolutely no business getting. It really is mind-bottling.

Was really hoping Michigan would at least get a visit. Apparently he's originally from Flint, Michigan and a lot of his family still lives there and some even go to school at UofM. Bummer.

Great stadium. Beautiful weather. Dedicated fan base. Some of the best looking coeds in the country. Yeah, I wonder what's so appealing about it to a bunch of 18 year old males

Would hardly call the stadium great. Weather sure. Fan base? I wasn't aware Clemson really had that big of a fan base. I also doubt 5* talents like North pick a school based on co-eds. He's probably thinking more along the lines of NFL, where he can play earliest and develop best to play in the NFL. Just my two cents. Still something very, very fishy about Clemson.
