Honest question: when was the last time a Buckeye recruit picked up a star after committing? Specifically from 4 ------>5. Seems like our guys tend to go the other way if they move.
Jaxon Smith-Njigba went from like rated 300 to a 5 star.
Edit: I tend to agree with what you’re saying though. Although the most recent updates were favorable for a lot of commits in the 23 class moving up in overall ranking which I hadn’t seen in awhile

I think CJ Stroud did. It definitely happens

Stroud definitely made the jump to 5* after commiting. I am going way back here but Mike Adams at OT skyrocketed up around the AA Army Game, something like from just above top 100 overall to #2 overall (going solely on memory but it was at least like 40-50 spots of a jump and from 4* to 5*). It does seem to be exception rather than the rule, but it may just feel that way with our S&G tinted glasses on.

But specific on Noah, he definitely is a candidate to be the next one to make the jump after committing, I think he is every bit as good as Innis and Tate tbh. But if it is our own commits battling it out for the top spots, I can learn to live with that.
