NCAA 2005 Buckeye Rating Changes?

I've made a buch, but I also do that for a lot of other teams' players as well.

For nearly all 1A QBs, I bump up their speed some and lower their ACC ratings.

For the Bucks:
T Smith now has a higher THP than Zwick, but a lower THA rating. I put his speed at 85 but I think anywhere between 82-85 is probably OK. I think I bumped Zwick's SPD to 65 and Boeckman's SPD to 62 or so. Zwick and Smith are both 82 OVR and Todd is 74.

I converted Roshawn Parker to Josh Huston, so I could redshirt him and made Turano the initial punter. I've lowered Ross' ratings and he is an 80 or 82 OVR, as is Mo Hall. I improved Pittman to be a 78 or 80 OVR, and increased his SPD to 92. Haw is a 78 or 76 and his SPD is around 94 now, and I lowered his AWR rating.

I converted a lot of players:
Frost to TE, Hoobler to MLB, Irizarry to CB Haslem, Ginn to WR (99 SPD and 78 or 80 CTH,) Guilford to LOLB Lukens (88 SPD,) OLB #58? to FB Stan White, created FS SirJo Welch and FB Dionte' Johnson (83-85 SPD?).

I increased the SPD ratings of nearly all tOSU DBs. I bumped Carpenter and Freeman's SPD ratings to 84, D'Andrea to 82 and Schlegel to 78 or 80.

Heck, I've made so many changes that It would be easier to just email a copy of my roster file to anyone who's interested (if they have an Action Replay for Xbox.) I haven't played much with my current roster ratings (I fried my Xbox a while back and just got a new one yesterday,) so I'm interested to see how they play. I know that I still need to adjust ratings for a lot of non-tOSU players too.

I have a roster named "Online" that only contains the players with their original ratings and positions. The only thing edited on it are the names. It works fine on XBL, and it automatically loads when I go online.
ah. i only have my edited rosters or none at all. took me a week to figure that one out.

and how many of you will be adding a dread-locked HB and baby-faced LB to your rosters tomorrow afternoon?

For anyone that is playing a dynasty, are you going to rename some of the players (your recruits) to the names of some of the actual recruits?

In my previous dynasty I went to the trouble of creating the maximum recruits (its like 25 or 50). I made a lot of the Ohio State prospects and went after them heavily. Unfortunately I lost a lot that will be joining us and lost interest.

now, this game, NCAA 2005, is the one that you can transfer the players to Madden, correct? Because i own a few of the Madden Series, but i plan on buying NCAA 2006 whenever it comes out, (or i might just get 2005 if the price goes down enough) so i can have all the recruits added on there and more accurate ratings of the other players.

Anyone know when 2006 will come out? Also, if you can upload rosters to Madden, can it only be with the same years? Like can NCAA 2006 only go to madden 06? or can it go to different games?

NCAA 2006 will come out around 7/15/2005. You can save draft classes from the NCAA games and then import them into Madden for the drafts. You can only do this between games from the same year (ex. NCAA 2005 --> Madden 2005.)

The game (NCAA 2005) shouldn't be very expensive right now. If you haven't owned a previous version of NCAA, then this would be a good place to start. It has a lot of neat features and you could get familiar with this version so that you'll be better prepared for 2006, when it's released.

alright thanks alot BrutuStrength. I was thinking about renting NCAA '05 soon or buying it. I heard it was a good game but normally i wasnt too sold on the college games because it doesnt have any of the player's names and its like a carbon copy of the professional version of it. Like i got march madness '05 and NBA Live '05 and i was pretty disapointed because there was basically no difference between the two. (also, they both got boring on their own quickly, im definitely more of a football-game player.)

Looked like a good roster of changes... except I'm not sure why Ginn only has 80 CTH, as his hands are supposedly his best attribute per Tressel. I'd give him at least 85-88 if not higher.

I wanted to give him an area to improve. I think 80 is a pretty good number for a Frosh.

Some other notes: I moved Lukens from LOLB to FS and SirJo Welch from FS to SS.

I couldn't agree more with your hands rating for Teddy. He dropped a few this year and regardless what Tressel says, we can only rate players based on game performance.
