Not having formation subs was fucking retarded. I'm glad they fixed it.

Formation subs is all they fixed apparently. I could care less about referees, dynamic conference logos, helmet numbers, and new equipment. Give me play creator or at least playbook creator to give me customized formations. How about improved game play? Locomotion engine? Improved online server? Better slider functionality?

But hey, you can auto-save now! Yippee! This is the most exciting piece of the whole article:

Excited for this game....I'll be picking this one up. 2010 was the first year I skipped picking up NCAA on release date since '98 :(

    Buckeneye That boy good

Pretty much my thoughts. Its the same old same with EA.

I'm a function over form man myself. I could care less about the bling. Ref's on the field? That's just polish - its not something that's a priority fix.

I am a fan of them putting the refs back on the field though...give me play/playbook creator as well as polish the gameplay and I'm happy.

    Merih GO BUCKS!

I'm excited, but for it to be a certified pre order I'm going to have to see some more previews that talk about gameplay and something about dynasty mode.

And if you do buy it, get it for the 360 and join us

    IronBuckI Calmer than you are.

At least they didn't use any "advanced logic" to fix the line play...that is already perfect, and should never be fixed. :roll1:

Not going to waste my time this year. I'll wait at least a couple of months after release to buy it this year.

Hey they didn't say that this was all of the advancements that they're going to make, this is just the first list that they want to release.

I hope your right. Because if putting numbers on a helmet registers as a #9 'advancement' this could be a very very weak installment of this game.

or giving you formation subs, and trying to make you feel good about it.. Hey now they worked their asses off giving you a ps2 feature.

I'll probably wait a while and get this one as well, if at all. Hopefully putting the refs on the field comes back and bites them in the asses. IE the "avoidance system" is really flawed and they are always getting in the way. At least they are making all of those bama fans happy and putting thenumbers on their helmets. I'm tired of this "fuck gameplay, lets just make sure the game looks good" nonsense with so many games today.
