It's pretty ridiculous that there can only ever be 1 penalty on a play and if there are more than one the first one is the one called. I can't tell you how many times I've had a holding penalty called on me when the "facemask animation" was played on a tackle.

No facemask...pshaw...

Team specific entrances would be great...would make the college football experience a bit more realistic...

But I only buy NCAA every 3 years...there aren't enough differences to buy the new one each year. I own '04/'07/'10 and won't buy another one until NCAA '13 on the XBOX4. :wink2:

just because there is a facemask animation doesn't mean there's a facemask.

hell it happens all the time in NCAA 09 (I refused to buy the 2010 version)....

The unfulfilled request for a facemask happens at least every 2-3 games for me.

I'm guessing you aren't paying attention well enough.

There's also the matter of whether you are playing on the terrible stock sliders (which would be the case if you never changed them or only played random online games). The animation still happens there too, but less often than when they are turned down like they should be.

Might also be that I'm playing on the PS2.

It may just be a coincidence...my penalty sliders are custom, and I usually have tackling set pretty high for both Human and CPU...so I assume that means less facemask...

I dunno, but I do know I've never seen one without the other...

I absolutely refuse to spend the coin on a PS3 or 360. I don't play enough for it to be worth it. My oldest daughter is playing Kingdom Hearts on the PS2 and my youngest is absolutely addicted to the Wii (Sports Resort, Bicycling). Do they want a 360? You bet, especially my oldest who loves the Call of Duty series. She's just a tad violent.


I'm stilll playing NCAA09 and Madden09 and enjoying every rare minute I get with them. Preparing for my next draft tomorrow. Already drafted Beanie to Skins and looking to add Pryor to my building Buckeye dynasty in Washington.

Also pretty ridiculous when you're called for roughing the passer when you hit the QB .5 seconds after he lets go of the ball...especially when you turn off the goddamn penalty because you're tired of their bullshit and it still calls roughing...
