New patch came out yesterday, in it EA fixed the disconnect issues in online games, as well as this little thing called...

PROGRESSION. The new progression models now follow more of the Last Gen ideas. Where great improvement is around 5-6 points and the average (depending on athletic facilities grade and team prestige) is around 3.

I might take a stab at restarting my OSU dynasty. Or even taking a low rung team and trying to up them to a BCS conference and eventually a national title.
Any idea whether it fixes progression in existing dynasties, or just in new dynasties? It would suck if I had to start the super conference over, in order to get realistic progression.

That's some positive information. I never expected a 3rd patch for the game. EA's developers have previously stated that each game basically gets 1 free patch, and they have to pay for any additional patches. And that was their claim as to why they only ever do 2 patches (1 free, and 1 they pay for).

Those set of rosters were done by a team of guys who break down the NCAA rosters every year and try to get them to match as close to reality as possible. They set depth charts, alter ratings, remove seniors who don't play for freshman who were left off, change equipment for each player to match what they wear in real life, set charts to reflect accurate injuries and transfers, and make the players (especially dlinemen) look as much like their real life counterparts as possible.

Basically, it is the best set of rosters out there, which I feel gives me the best gaming experience.

Who's rosters are you using?

I had been using a roster suggested on a website, free download and I had used it the previous year or two. Download was real easy, but I first got it the week the game was released. There were some minor errors, mostly in the names that were spelled. There were also a few roster errors as far as numbers matching the correct players/positions. I ended up just making the corrections myself to make sure they turned out correctly, I only did it for my team however. I just recently started playing around with those Agressive settings.

This was the website: http://freencaa09rosters.com/

Use that link, but instead of (on XBOX) using "Lanteri87"'s rosters, type in "romancaesar"

Believe me, hey are 10 times better.
I downloaded those but wasn't too impressed with how they had OSU's roster. They took out Adam Homan and only have Boren at FB. They also lowered a lot of their best players to only being rated 90 (Gibson and Coleman). I didn't want to have to edit enough players to be happy with the roster so I just edited my own roster file (previously modified Lanteri version) a bit further.
