NCAA gets it right ... this time.

Tibs:

The NCAA Division II Academic Requirements Committee turned down Johnson's first request because Henderson State hadn't provided all the necessary information. The nine-member committee meets by conference call, but once the NCAA had all the information from Gardner, the NCAA staff approved Johnson's appeal.

They may have left out something like... "this kid is in the Army" in the first Application or something innane like that.

AK, that would be a pretty important piece of information to have forgotten. I'm guessing it had more to do with the number of credit hours he had taken and how many he was trying to make up before he shipped out to Irac. But it is the NCAA ... who knows?

Oh hell... You know the NCAA.. they probably forgot to fill in the Zip Code Box next to "Address Of Institution" and they sent it back for being in improper form.
