  • With the bracket announcements looming I thought a thread for discussion was in order.

    Whose bubble will burst?

Where will we go? What will be our seed? Who will we play?

We'll find out soon now.

My five minute guess at the 34 at large teams:

Richmond, Xavier, New Mexico, BYU, Gonzaga, Georgetown, Pitt, Villanova, Syracuse, Wisconsin, Sparty, Purdue, Vandy, Maryland, Va Tech, Florida State, Kansas State, Baylor, UTEP, UNLV, California, Tennessee, Utah State, Texas, Texas A&M, Missouri, Clemson, Wake Forest, Marquette, Louisville, Notre Dame, Illinois, Mississippi State, Oklahoma State

Still 15 minutes to wait! :(

I don't foresee Illinois getting in but Minny not getting in at least at this point.....

I think it will be either both or just Minny. and I think with that Mississippi State is on the outside looking in.

lunardi has a mole inside the committee. believe it. every year he has at least one team "out" on saturday night and inexplicably puts them "in" at the last second on sunday.

this year, it's illinois. absolutely nothing happened that helped illinois between last night and this morning. sure, minnesota didn't win and msu didn't win, but those were championship games. nonetheless, lunardi now has illinois "in." count on it happening.

Isnt the #1 overall paired with the last #2 seed. I see Kansas as #1 overall, and us as the second #2 seed. So no way we would end up with them, although I like the matchups outside of Kansas

Utah State and UTEP should get bounced IMHO. Seriously, would you rather play either of those two teams, or a team that just beat MSU, Purdue, and played OSU pretty tough? Same goes for Illinois.

Gotlieb making a case for Va Tech by saying, "Well they went on the road to TWO Big 10 teams and beat PSU and Iowa." :shake: He went on to say that teams don't go there and win. Really Doug? Two teams under .500 and home? Lets get real.
