So invites are out and we are ready to do preaseason stuff? Any idea what scheduling will look like? I would love to get a cupcake game, I still have a heck of a time with the computer. I played UGA last night on AA and got stomped 51-37. Seems like a lot more fumbles in 2010 than 09. I am having a very hard time tackling players also.

Yep, have had it.

No clue what scheduling will look like as I haven't looked at it yet. My first priority is to come up with some sort of rotational human non-conference schedule. Which might take a day or two as I am swamped at work (while I can stop and check BP real quick... hard to put together a good 30+ minutes to figure out the schedule rotation)

But if people have requests for an easy opening game to get in the flow, I have no problem with it.

Very hard to tackle Running backs on All American. I'm barely beating mid level teams right now so I'd like to have no higher than a B team to start off with. I'm 50/50 I could beat an elite team right now.

Recruiting at aTm looks strong right now. I desperately need to fill some needs in this opening class.

It will be interesting if this could be more of a TB team problem versus the game problem. It could be the tackle rating was skewed more up in the 2010 version and is a bigger part of gameplay. As I did notice when I was building a team, for a defensive player if the default tackle rating was like 85 and my 2009 guy was a 69, the ovr rating took a big hit when I entered the 69.

It's hard for me to say because my aTm team can't tackle anyone but highly ranked Florida doesnt miss a tackle. Those are really the only teams I've played with. Has anyone else played with a good 2010 team?

Also, what are we supposed call the year 2010. Is it '10, 20-10, or what?

My boss always calls it oh-ten. Drives me crazy. You can't go from oh-nine to oh-ten. You can only go from oh-oh-9 to oh-ten. :nerd:

Also, I haven't had many problems with tackling while using Georgia Tech, Ohio State, or Kentucky. Except when I still try to dive to light somebody up...then my guy usually just trips over his own feet. I've really got to kick this habit of diving for tackles.

Had some free time at lunch (ie I needed a freaking mental break) Banged out a decent set of numbers for scheduling purposes. Like last year I am just using numbers at this moment. My next task is assigning home and away dates. Which made me think...

How do I go about doing that? With an odd number of human non-conference games means 2 home 1 away/ 1 home 2 away. Also, now with the division conferences you don't necessarily have a fixed home/away human conference schedule like the Pac10 or Big East.

Thoughts... or just say screw it.

I admit, I'm guilty of glazing over when you guys were discussing all of that.
Texas is probably your only rival. Also, don't promise a winning record vs. rivals in the offseason, because no matter how many times a TB team plays its rival, your record vs. rivals will remain 0-0. 0-0 = broken promise.
