RULES & SETTINGS

1. 6 Minute Quarters on All-American Difficulty with default slider. When any sliders are found to give a better gaming experience, there will be a league discussion to keep cpu games from being total blowouts.

2. We will complete 2 "Game Weeks" per 1 "Real Week" at a minimum. Deadlines will be Sunday and Thursday at 10pm.

3. NO CHEESING - Don't do anything you wouldn't want done against you. Coaches are expected to play a realistic game of football. This includes 4th down plays, be realistic when you go for it on 4th down (either by being down alot or at least close to midfield). We'll run on the honor system, it is up to the players to report cheesing to me via PM. The first time will be a warning and if that player chooses not to stop, penalties can range from throwing out game results to being removed from the league (by community vote)

4. Depth Chart Restrictions - There shall be no player with 90+ speed that can be listed in your FB or TE depth chart unless that is their original position. Example: Jonathan Dwyer FB, Georgia Tech has 93 speed, and would be allowed to stay on the depth chart at FB if Georgia Tech were a human controlled team. If a FB or TE recruit with greater than 90 speed is signed by one of the teams in this dynasty, then they will be allowed to stay at their "natural" position.

For the purpose of position changes during the offseason a player must weigh at least 220lbs to be switched to FB (along with a speed less than 90). For a switch to TE, the player must be at least 230lbs or 6'4 tall. That means if a player is not 230lbs, he must at least be 6'4, and if he isn't 6'4 he has to weigh more than 230lbs (along with a speed of less than 90). If you have a player that weighs more than 225 lbs AND they have STR of 75+, they will be allowed to play FB, regardless of how fast they are. If you have a player that is 6'4" AND weighs more than 230 lbs AND has STR of 75+, they will be allowed to play TE, regardless of speed. I may grant a position or depth chart change to those positions if the guy has 74 STR and 92 speed, if their is some other attribute that makes them a reasonable candidate for that position, but the height, weight and strength requirements are a good guide to go by, IMO.

Basically, no weak, fast, midgets are allowed to play at either FB or TE.

5. All teams will be required to play 3 human v human games as their non-conference games. If you have human v human conference games these do not count towards the 3 game requirement. This will be done on a rotational basis so all players would eventually player every player. If we have an odd number of teams so it becomes difficult to have a required 3 non-conference games, a player will be permitted to play only 2 non-conference game. BUT, the only players eligible to play only 2 non-conference game will be from the teams that play a human v human game on their conference schedule.

6. If someone chooses to drop out of the league (or gets kicked out) we will try to replace said player if we have a waiting list. Any new player can either choose the team that was dropped or they can pick any team that is rated at B- or lower. We will use the teams current rating for when the add is made. If at all possible they should try to pick a team from the conference that lost its member. If we add any teams (ie go from 10 to 12) they must pick a team rated B- or lower from the Big 10, as the only conference that has no current human members.

Future Schedules

Future Schedules

*NOTE* Updated 12/11/09 - Schedules set thru 2014. Army, UCF & Iowa play 4 human non-conference games while everyone else plays 3. Of course this causes some irregular games, sometimes you will play someone in back to back years (or for Army & UCF 3 years in a row) and other things. But it is the best I can do and really, we will probably have to switch this up again if we add someone or if we lose anyone else.

The cpu non-conference games can go a few ways. Do we just go with a normal game to tune-up. Or do people want to play the ranked teams that are currently not on people's schedules.

Currently those teams are:

Ohio State
Penn State (funny how they were on Syracuse's default schedule)
Iowa
Boise St
Utah

Let me know if anyone wants to play those above teams. Or chicken out and play Georgia Tech or Arkansas

I'd like to chicken out and start against GT but I'd be game for playing Iowa, Boise St., or Utah after that. I'll wait on playing tOSU or PSU until we figure out how severe this injury thing is. I'm a little worried about losing my team early on.

I'll take any of those teams as long as it's NOT at Boise. I hate the blue turf.

did you take penn state off my schedule or did the game? as usual...i don't care who i play or when.

Probably will take them off as I am sure you don't want to lose to them :wink2: I know I am putting Duke on your schedule for your enjoyment.

The opening game vs Bsu went according to script until the last half of the 4th quarter when the CPU decided it would be cool to make it close out of no where. I also got greedy. Ended up winning 34-27 after being up 34-13 in the 3rd

It pained me to do it, but Ohio State went down. Army got a couple long touchdowns that probably shouldn't have happened.

First, neither Heyward or Chekwa could tackle worth a damn.

Second, Kurt Coleman missed an interception by this much.

Having played a lot as Ohio State and now against them, I've come to a couple conclusions. First, EA made Mike Adams pretty much suck at pass protection. Second, neither Posey or Small can catch a cold in this game.
