What makes me laugh is that he thinks he's leaving for the NFL after this year.

Doesn't he know about the secret plot to kidnap him, brainwash him, and enroll him in the university as an incoming freshman next Fall?

I get the feeling an unknown walk-on named Mark Nugget is going to be a very successful kicker with our program.

ND's kicker played infinitely better than did BC's. No kicker would have made that kick at the end--the clock was stopped at :01 (one second) after Notre Dame passed for a first down, and they rushed the kicking team on to even get the snap off before the clock re-started. The refs would have flagged them for illegal procedure if the kick had been good.

BC could have used half of a Nugent on the other hand. Then the game would have been out of reach. BC absolutely dominated them.

right. i cant think of any kicker who couldve gotten that kick off as time was expiring. especially no kicker in the big ten.......against purdue......last year.....

The QB & offense were still running off the field as the special teams players were running on. They certainly weren't set at the line, and it was a pretty comical attempt at a field goal.

They would have been flagged for illegal procedure or too many men because a bunch of players were still running off the field. It would have been a *physical impossibility* for him to get it off and for it to stay on the scoreboard. That's all I meant.
