Hard to fault the man for wanting to partake in the entire Ohio University experience. If you've not been found passed out behind the wheel of a car pointing the wrong way down a one way street in Athens, OH, you're doing Athens wrong.

Was there for grad school. Will say, that Frank's experience was a bit extreme... but I DO know plenty of people who were busted for WWI. That's walking while intoxicated. Those damn bricks just reach up and grab feet and the cops are happy to let you sleep it off in the care of Athens' finest.

Going there for grad school next summer-at the ripe old age of 41. I may just commute from Cloverhill.

Don't know if I'd survive Athens post my young 20s.

It is a wonderful campus. Was back there 10 years ago or so. Walked into the Junction (since renamed) and the owner, Keith sitting in his assigned barstool, recognized me after close to 10-years. He said, 'where the hell have you been?' I just laughed and said, 'Chicago... I see you've not moved!'
