DEBuck, lol, I've laughed a couple times since installing this. Once when we collectively crossed a full day of in-game time (didn't take long), again when we crossed 2 full days. Now, that's just time spent actually inside a game. Not just in the arcade. 2 days. I swear this is going to end with me getting sued over someone losing their job. But that's okay, you can't get much money out of a bedridden PacMan addict.
The author of the arcade hack did an amazing job. He did it free for the vBulletin community, but I think I might hit his PayPal account up with a little beer money this week. He earned it.
RLC -- I've wondered the exact same thing about Asteroids. I knew there was some little "get out of getting squashed free" button. Whether it was a bomb or hyperspace or something, I'm not clear at all. I will try to find out.
To everyone, I'm elated that the hack has gone over so well. Frankly, I wondered given our scope if games like these would be well received at all. Now I just wonder if anyone will take the time to post now and again. lol. Consider it an off-season distraction to give you something more pleasant to do than suffering through the bile you can run into elsewhere.
On a bit of good news, I might be able to convince (where 'convince' is actually 'hire', he's a pro) the guy who did the Arcade hack to do the stats engine for the main site. But that's still a secret and I'm not telling anyone yet.
