Game Thread New Mexico St 0, tOSU 45 (Oct 31, Noon ET, BTN)

The thing with tickets and money for the athletic department is that most of the seats are paid for already. What a game like this does is provide tickets at a lower price(ticketmaster/scalpers expect to get less/students take face...etc.) and many of the blue collar fans can make it in. they get the joy of watching the team in full swing and for not a much as normal. Better for all of those fans than a bye week.

I think it was Bob "Taco" Griese would said that...

I prefer "Griese Taco," kind of rolls of the tongue and creates a pleasant mental image.

And yes, it was he that was sticking up for JT and Speils was saying something like "it's a 'what have you done for me lately' world". Didn't really have any problem with either guy in that bit.

My son got 2 tickets late for the game..the game day experience is out of this world even if it is NMSU. Tailgate, TBDBITL, the game what could be better rain or shine..7-0 or 2-5. Living out in Illinois another chance to go to the SHOE is outstanding..Ive seen tOSU many times at Iowa,NW and Illinois but since I graduated in 76 this will be he 2nd time I've been back. My mom and Sibs live in Pickerington and I was born and raised in Col. and have been a fan forever. As a long time fan don't ever take this time in tOSU football for granted..even with all the dissappointments ..the JT reign has been great. Granted I was spoiled by the golden age of tOSU football..68-76 but this run is getting close.Oh by the way GO BUCKS!

Ross-Ade holds 62,500, the official attendance was 50,404; and I thought that close to 50K were there.

By the end of the game maybe...the commentators made a point a couple of times to say people were still arriving in the 2nd half. The crowd for their last game was a joke.
