For those of you who don't care at all about the uni's...let's follow in Oregon's football team's footsteps.

OSU is a historical program with tradition beyond tradition. I HATE change.

For every Oregon or Miami they've ruined, Nike has improved as many schools and upheld the tradition of 8 more. Based on what they've done for tOSU so far (disregard the hockey alternates), I'll give Swoosh the benefit of the doubt for now.

I agree with Cornerback6. He hasn't done anything in his NBA career. Now if it was a Dwyane Wade logo for Marquette I might have a different point of view. He already has a Ring and a Finals MVP, and his jersey is already retired at Marquette.

He's done plenty, but that's besides the point. It isn't like this is promoting Lebron. This is promoting Nike and a brand name. The Lebron James logo is no different than a Rebok logo. They're just logos that represent a brand of clothing and shoes.

Ohio State is signing to the Lebron James logo. It'd be no different than if they signed with And1 or Adidas.

As long as the football jerseys don't get too far away from what we all know they should look like, they can do whatever with the basketball uni's.

do you know how many changes both the football and basketball unis have been through in the last 60 years?

i dont know the exact number but a TON.

There's nothing funnier than watching a bunch of people trying to make a big deal out of something that isn't one. It's not like we have suddenly become the Ohio State Lebron James's. Also this has nothing to do with promoting the NBA or Lebron. News flash, LBJ is a player and a brand name. They make a logo change and all of the sudden we're Oregon? Seriously though, how many of you complaining can name the last time we changed uni's? We could at least wait until catching a glimpse of them before instantly complaining but obviously some people are determined not to like them regardless. Maybe we should just go back to the days of nut-hugger pants if you are all so into tradition. I guess I'm just a biased ass-hole from the "who gives a shit" camp but honestly, who gives a shit and more importantly why? Sure, if they are ugly as hell I'll be pissed alongside everybody else but just quit complaining until you at least see the damn things!

I will always disagree with removing "Gray", I'm an American so I'll use the American spelling, from our uniforms as it is an actual school color. They can trim with black or white if they want to but Scarlet or Gray should ever remain a constant. My .01999999 cents worth.

I remember hearing this as well. That if he hadn't gone pro he would've been a Buckeye.

But even so, I don't really think that's the point. I think it's just like the Air Jordan line...just because a team wore Air Jordan shoes doesn't mean that they had an association with MJ. Just means they're sweet shoes.
that's because every team says it about lebron. he apparently would have been playing for Ohio State, Syracuse, Duke, UNC, Akron, and Kentucky so far.....I'm sure there's more.
