alright guys.... we all know theyll probably come out with a new grand theft auto game because of the crazy money they make from them... forgive me if its already been anounced or talked about, but what could the next one be like?

Mainly, what location do you think would be interesting enough to be able to base a new game on? Theyve already done the New York City thing (GTA3) plus those other 2 funky levels in it, they got the Miami beach thing going on with Vice City, and then LA ghettos and all over california with San Andreas.

I'm probably thinkin that they could re-do the New York City type location, and make it better. Or maybe do a foreign country. Discuss....

    Italy would work pretty well..

I'd like to see it somewhere in Europe. France or Italy or Switzerland.

My friend who lives for GTA games is also a junkie for asian women... so he obviously suggested:

Tokyo. I think it could work pretty well.

I'm still sticking with Venice. They'd have to improve the handling of the boats, but there could be some really tight chase scenes thru the waterways (ala Italian Job)

I think ESPN has a few suggestions.

What could be really cool is have it go all over Europe. There could be the different countries and you would do missions in one of the cities in each, and then maybe even go over to Tokyo. For a new feature to add on, they could make it so you could go into airports and take flights to some of the countries when needed (ex. going from spain/france to tokyo).

i don't know how much to read into this, but in the PS3 demo that Winslow posted in another thread they had a minute or so of a new GTA and it was old western, whether that is actually in the works or was done solely for demo purposes, who knows?

I think Latin America would be nuts-Mexico City, Bogota, Rio-the cities are gorgeous, crazy violent, connected to crime-perfect. Tokyo would also be cool, although, from personal experience there-there are no ghettos/high crime areas in Tokyo.

i think Hong-Kong would be a very cool city to model the game after...........or atleast somewhere in Asia would be a lot cooler than Europe, IMO
