The Cards have had 3 "reality checks" in the past 3 weeks

I am not talking about the fact that the Steelers are "favored" but I have seen them up close and personal as a Browns fan and their defense not only brings it but they bring it with force.

I know how you feel right now and I am happy for you but please don't tell me that you are satisfied with second-place when you have come this far. It is only one day after so I understand your feelings. Enjoy!

The Steelers were definitely laying the wood on the Ravens last night, so it is apparent that they hit very hard.

Wasn't 75% of the people on this board telling me how the Eagles had this unpenetrable defense that the Cards couldn't handle? I'm not saying the Eagles defense is as good as the Steelers, but they had held the last 5 or 6 teams to under 12 points/game. The Cards got 32 on them.

The Cards OC is very good and I think will drum up some plays to keep the Steelers defense on their heels. The Cards OL has to keep the Steelers front 4 off of him and if they can do that, Warner is usually very successful.

I'm sure I will be devastated if the Cards lose the Super Bowl, but right now, I'm happy as a pig in shit. The only better feeling I've had as a sports fan was after game 7 of the D-Backs/Yankees WS in 2001. I don't know if the Super Bowl will top that, but I'm sure it will be equal if not better since the Cards have been such an underachiever and a Super Bowl win would be such a surprise. I might start believing in Santa and the Easter Bunny if the Cards win a Super Bowl before the Suns win an NBA championship.
