NFL Discussion (Official Thread)

If you go back to 1982, the AFC wins 1 super bowl from 1982 to 1996 and that was the Raiders against Washington....so in that time frame you get 3 dynasties (Redskins/Cowboys/49ers), a decade of pretty good ball from the Giants who won 2 and then one off years from the Bears and Green Bay.
Yeah. I mean, it’s hard to believe there was a time when the Redskins were actually a pretty elite franchise. Even stranger, they did it with a bunch of different journeymen QBs.

His receivers have been worse. He's dropped some dimes in impossible situations that should have been caught. He definitely didn't play great, but he did enough IMO.

He was too beat up. He was giving ground on scrambles where he would normally step up and drive the ball downfield or flush and get a positive play

I don't mean it as shade at mahomes, and the bucs defense deserves credit too, but I just didn't see him able to make the Defense pay when they got in chase mode like he usually does

I don’t care for Brady at all, but to still be playing this well at 43 is fucking ridiculous.

Damn, I remember him playing. That sucks
Not for nothing, the guy was an outstanding fantasy football pick when I was into it around ‘05-‘15. Could go up and get the deep ball with great catches. The humanitarian side and military assistance overshadows that from all the things I’m reading tonight but the guy could play.

Interested to hear what went wrong. Hopefully he and his family can find peace.

What else about that time that is really hard to believe is that the Dolphins made as many SBs with Dave Woodley as their QB as they did with Dan Marino
