You're arguing...semantics. Whether or not you think New England being universally hated and Deflategate are "evidence" that the NFL wouldn't fix games to help them is irrelevant. The NFL doesn't hate them, the NFL doesn't love them, and the NFL doesn't give a shit about them winning or losing.

They don't though. People say the same dumb shit about every consistently successful team in every sport, like Ohio State.

I'm not even a Patriots fan. Criticize all you want, I don't give a shit. Just recognize the petty bitterness for what it is.

Im not a fan of any Patriots rival. Belichick is one of the greatest - but he's a prolific cheater and Goddell destroyed the evidence w/no punishment

Ohio State doesnt get any 50/50 calls like that. Only Patriots get that kind of treatment.

How much time does Elway get? I mean aside from a captain obvious signing of Manning, is he really that great? Not only that, but the guy is horrid at picking the position that he is a hall of famer at. You know, the most important position on the field.

Broncos propose alternative to trying onside kick

NFL teams have proposed nine rule changes for 2019, including an intriguing alternative from the Denver Broncos to bypass the onside kick.

According to the Broncos' proposal, released Friday night by the NFL, each team would have one opportunity per game to remain on offense after a fourth-quarter score. Instead of kicking off, the team would line up at its 35-yard line for what is in essence a fourth-and-15. If the team gains the 15 yards, it maintains possession. If not, the defense takes over.
