Accidental or not, that’s an easy call for the refs to make. If they were to revisit that call, maybe a double minor. But the majority of the damage had already been done in those 4 minutes.

Remember when Kris Draper got his face rearranged by Claude the Turtle? It didn't even get a penalty.

5 minutes was probably a tad much but they don't screw around anymore when there is a major injury, right or wrong.

I was considering adding to my post saying, 7-10 years ago it’s probably not even a penalty. But now that the refs put a bigger emphasis on contact to the head, I’m not surprised they basically set the tone. The series was brutally physical, and I think Vegas could’ve approached that play differently while still remaining physical.

That being said, fuck you Vegas/NHL. Gimme back Wild Bill.

By RULE that's a penalty on the Caps, and they ignore it. :roll1:

There's no judgment involved when a guy flips the puck in the crowd from his own zone.

Carolina does the EXACT same thing and NOW they call the penalty.

It's a good thing I'm not a conspiracy theorist. :roll1:

Pittsburgh, Washington, and Tampa all eliminated in the first round. AND Columbus is still in contention?

Is this real life?
