NHL Playoffs: are you watching them?

No fisticuffs, and it was pretty evident to me that Tampa had elevated their game. TB scored first, and add in the fact that it was Brad Richards - the Bolts are now 9-0 in the playoffs (31-0-2 this season) when Richie gets a goal. They completely turned around what Calgary did to them in Game 5, I haven't gotten much accomplished here at the office today anticipating tonights game...

How about the Lightning coming through in Game 7? What a performance by the 'Bulin wall, he was outstanding between the pipes. And Fedotenko? Two goals in game seven? That kind of performance will cement a lifetime legacy, certainly with the Lightning fans anyway. I even got to watch the game at the brand new BW's down here in my neighborhood, an added bonus. It seems that some of you maintain your anti-Florida sentiment against TB, which I can understand being an Ohio native. But if you had been paying attention all season like I have, you too would be a fan. These guys bring a blue collar mentality to the game, they play hard every night, and they're accountable to the media and fans when they don't bring their best effort. There's a victory parade this afternoon for the Lightning, I'll be playing hookey to go check out the Stanley Cup in person...

Way to go Lightning! :banger:
I was expecting a brand new thread from you on this one! I almost started one myself after the win in game seven but I didn't as I felt like I would've been stealing your thunder.
Congrats on your team's cup! I'm happy they won it.
Fedotenko is one of those old crafty vets that I like so much. These are the kind of guys a team needs to pick up to go along with the great young players like St. Louis and Vinny. It's the problem with the Rangers. They go out and buy all these high priced free agents that just don't come through for them. They got their payday and they aren't hungry enough.
Have fun at your Cup Parade.
