“The focus was grooming these young men for life after a degree,” she said. “They have a very good program in place that helps with life after football; internships, etc. I felt it was a very well-rounded school and focused on academics, careers and football.”

Urban Meyer himself was different than she had heard, too.

“I was told he is all football, only cares about winning, etc.,” she shared. “Also, that he is not a player’s coach. I had the total opposite impression. He was concerned about the player. He wanted his program to focus on the whole young man and who they will become after Ohio State. I like him. He expressed many of the same values as I have.”

The 6-foot-5, 245-pound Hardy and his mother also spent time with Larry Johnson Sr., the man who would be his position coach in Columbus.

“Ohio State was very motivating,” she added. “Coach Larry Johnson took time out to break down Dorian’s film and discussed his strength and weaknesses. (He was a) very genuine man.”

holy moly the more I read about it the worse it gets. plus the things ive read about Hardys mom....yeah ummm.....
