Brandon Wimbush (QB Notre Dame, transfer to UCF)

Hate seeing a talented player leave the conference. Not that Rutgers was ever a player but NJ is B1G recruiting grounds and he was committed to a program that needs to succeed every Saturday annually except one. Sucks.

The Domers are on a roll, no doubt.

I wonder what would have happened if we still had a spot open at QB (other than for Gibson which is a unique situation). Still excited for Burrow but Wimbush is pretty impressive.

I'm wondering if this won't make PSU more attractive to Haskins.
In the last month Barrett has emerged, Gibson has proclaimed OSU s his leader, and Winbush has hit ther road. Throw in the known codiclie that Hack will be at PSU for at most 1 year wen Haskins is a frosh.

I'm still holding out hope that he leaves the Pedsters high and dry at the alter on signing day. Pretty much anywhere but there (or maybe TTUN) would be a better destination for him.... but that's just me...........

Your wish has been granted. Bit surprised when I saw this today. Notre Dame does okay in Jersey from time to time, but I hadn't heard we were trying to flip him. Works out pretty good since we lost Barnett to 'Bama. He might have a hard time beating out Zaire once Golson is gone though.

At least Zaire will only have a couple years of overlap with Wimbush. He should be primed to start his RS Sophomore year. However, I do thin Wimbush has the ability to push Zaire and make the competition worth watching.
