North Carolina vs. Ohio State, Saturday, 1:30 PM, CBS

Vegas opens Bucks +6.5. KenPom says Bucks +8. I'm going with the Nawlins' effect hitting UNC harder than the boys from Columbus, and I'm calling it Buckeyes by 4. Carolina lacks any go-to guys down the stretch who can create points. A solid, capable basketball team, but they don't really scare anybody.

Stats:

Luke Maye 19 ppg, Joel Berry 17 ppg, and Kenny Williams 13.

I just noticed that Pitt grad-transfer Cameron Johnson is back for UNC, and scored 10 against Wofford. Don't know how much he can contribute yet, but I might have to revise my forecast. I'm calling it a coin flip!

Wofford did us no favors.

UNC by double digits. I just hope it's not an all-out beating. I'm afraid it might be.

Please. UNC is simply not that good this year. They are definitely good enough to beat us, as they should, but this isn't a national title contending team.

If Potter and Young are good and contribute anything, and Kam plays up to his ability, we hang around with them all game long.

They beat the Wolverines by 15, but they lost to Sparty by 18.

catching a glimpse of what we'll face against msu. unc's 2-point defense is very good. msu's 2-point defense is much, much better.

creating shots inside 8 feet is the foremost task right now. without kbd for the rest of the half, that is a monumental task. it was tough enough with him.
