Yea but I'm just talking about the West. There isn't much talent in general. Wisconsin has a system of getting the most out of 3* and occasional 4* guys. I'm curious if Scott realizes that's become their de facto rivalry game - Wisconsin has Corn's number and takes it to them every year.
Fitzgerald has demonstrated he puts together some decent teams once in awhile.

Yeah, if you look at a few seasons, he’s actually had some really good starts. At some point, the wheels have fallen off — pretty hard after said really good starts and they can’t seem to string together a good season.

I don’t see how Fitz has yet to at least receive an inquiry from a middle-echelon program but I probably just answered my own question.

I'd hazard 2 reasons:
1. Not terribly consistent
2. Alma mater and cult hero status. He's cemented in NW's limited glory since playing days as an all-american winning big10 twice. expectations arent high and i think everyone knows somebody else would make them a perennial bottom feeder.
