LINK - ND offers $25 bounty to ban tOSU fans.

In the interest of Christmas civility and for good cheer, ND offers each and every LSU poster who can ban a filthy vile vOSU flaming poster a $25 bounty.

Continued...

NDChief are you the one behind this?
:slappy:
I got banned from the Notre _ame Scout sight earlier this month when I called them out for saying Buckeye fans were obsessed with the Irish when they had six threads on their front page about tOSU.

Guess I can update this now...I'll give him PSU since they will probably be Top-25 after Bowl season...

Just for a little perspective here, this is a list of Charlie's quality wins after 25 games coaching at Notre Dame...
2005
at scUM (7-5) 17-10
USC, oh wait, that was only a "moral victory"
*These are based on how the teams ended the season, so being ranked at the time of the game doesn't necessarily count and also makes scUM a bit of a stretch.
2006
at Ga Tech (9-5) 14-10
vs Penn St.(9-4) 41-17

That's a grand total of TWO.

Record vs. RANKED oponents (ranked on the day of the game)...4-4
Vs. Top 10 teams (on the day of the game)...1-4(the win was against scUM in 2005)
Bowl record...0-2

Well, color me impressed.

To add to your point CW is 0-6 against teams that ranked in the top 10 at the end of the season in his tenure.

Color me impressed as well. . . now why does this guy make almost double of what JT does again? Please don't tell me it's because he's double the size.

Chew on this for 2007 and enjoy.

2007 Notre Dame Football Schedule
Sept. 1 GEORGIA TECH
Sept. 8 at Penn State
Sept. 15 at Michigan
Sept. 22 MICHIGAN STATE
Sept. 29 at Purdue
Oct. 6 at UCLA
Oct. 13 BOSTON COLLEGE
Oct. 20 USC
Nov. 3 NAVY
Nov. 10 AIR FORCE
Nov. 17 DUKE
Nov. 24 at Stanford

Thats a 4 -6 loss season imo. I bolded the ones I feel are L's and itlaicized the ones that will be testers. The Domers could very well finish next September with between 2-4 losses with UCLA and USC still looming. They have their creampuffs backloaded with a very young team next year....that ain't good.

The good news for them is they will actually be in a lesser Bowl like they deserve to be for once and might have a chance to break the streak.

OMG, ending the season with THOSE 4 teams? So basically ND's 2007 regular season ends in October and then they practice for two months for their bowl game. I'm just shocked they don't have Army or Coast Guard in there anywhere.

EDIT: oh and think about if they actually WIN one of those 4 games (*cough* UCLA *cough*), they'll be annointed as the greatest 3 loss team in the land. Add to that ND homers excuses for the 3 losses, you know like, well if we hadn't thrown 5 picks, or if the refs hadn't called us for pass interference 12 times because we can't cover, etc...and they could get another BCS invite EASY.

Since they don't have Quinn coming back I figure the loss count should be 4-5. At Penn State and Michigan should be losses, Boston College has historically been an issue for them and I just don't see them beating USC for a long time to come. UCLA and Michigan State will both be looking for revenge, altho Mark Dantonio will improve the Spartans, I don't see him having a huge effect for a couple years.

So they wind up in a non-bcs bowl, assuming that the pollsters don't find some way to get them into the top 12 with that many losses.

How many more years do they give Weis? His recruiting class should be starting to come in. So far, everyone that's left or graduated hasn't been effectively replaced, so what can we expect next year?
