If you find that hard to believe then open your own cafepress store and see what the prices are. We sell at the bottom price that they will give plus one dollar to cover all our give aways on saturdays. We are not out to make the big $$.
Ok well let me take it a step further since you asked...looking at your prices, $10 and up on T-shirts and especially $10 on buttons, your prices are certainly a good deal higher than your costs. We deal with T-shirts and buttons every year, every season in the athletic department...you guys are definitely making some flow on this.

Honestly, I think its great. You guys found a great cause that is red hot right now....hell make a million, but let's call a spade a spade and not try to throw that bullshit around here.

I see your point. And thanks for hoping we would make a million! But my point was that it wasn't us making any money off of this. We used the online company called cafepress that manufactures shirts/buttons when they are ordered and not in advance. They set the prices. (which are higher because you can order in any quantity you would like) We went this rout because we don't have a large bankroll to print shirts upfront and then sell them ourselves and like I said, the point wasn't to make a buck. Using cafepress someone who wants a shirt or anything goes directly to the company that prints them and buys from them. We only see a dollar out of the sale, and we use it to buy more shirts to give away. I wasn't trying to "throw bullshit around" just trying to get the word out. The only person who has purchased any items anyway is me /shrug

You are honestly getting hosed then...

You could have found a local screen printer and got those shirts for 4-5 dollars depending on the number of colors you wanted to use. The buttons are made for less than $1 apiece and are easily made.

Either way, best of luck in your business

Thanks OSUgrad21, and I wanted to clear up something I said that I was wrong about. One person in AZ also has ordered! I hope they wear it with pride. But I don't see how anyone is getting hosed. It's just like buying a shirt from Longs or University Tees. Anyway, I do thank you for your words of encouragement. Maybe we can show the people that we can't take her anymore!

Ok, I got ya. I just want to see others supporting the cause. We will be out in full force with posters, flyers and t-shirts Michigan gameday. I hope others will be too. Would like to get a flag for our flag pole if anyone knows where I can get a cheapish one made. I'm glad there is a lot of interest in getting rid of this devil!

i just love holewarts logic....

lets harrass the alumni and generally more mature fans who tailgate, drink a couple of beers, cookout and mingle.....

meanwhile the college kids are tapping kegs at 6am and drinking all the beer they want at the vc and hineygate....and their apartments that are within walking distance of the shoe...

of all the cars toppled and all the "problems" after a big win.....i wonder what percentage come from the tailgaters as opposed to the kids who actually are unfettered in their libations....

its just a stupid approach to an incredibly over-inflated issue....

the most laughable part is that holebrook and her cronies will flat out say that the reason that there hasnt been an incident since the ttun game in 2002 is because of her tailgating policy. That is how ass-backwards this broad is. Perhaps someone should point out to her that there have been several similar incidents in the same areas off campus when there wasnt a football game.

Stop it! Stop it! Stop it!

You're making too much sense. When someone has a personal agenda, then logic has no place in the equation.

I'll bet she's a flamin' hypocite too: "Make me another gin and tonic, Andrew! And spill a little in it this time!"

Question for the more experienced Buckeye tailgaters:

Me and a couple of buddies are taking a tricked-out school bus down to tailgate and need to know what lots we are allowed to park in. I have only been down to one game and we ended up tailgateing near the Ag buildings near the corner of Fyffe and Woody Hays Dr. I do know that the bus will not be allowed in that lot.

Any info would be appreciated.
