QB Tathan Martell (transfer to Miami, transfer to UNLV)

Last weekend I couldn’t watch the Ohio State game live because that was at the same time we were playing, but I did go back and watch it later. That was a very impressive win for the Buckeyes and they’re just showing how dominant they will be even when people call it a “rebuilding year.” There is so much talent and I don’t think there is anyone questioning that team, and what they are capable of, after a blowout win over a pretty good opponent. The offense was clicking. The defense was playing lights out. I was really pleased as a recruit and a commit to see how they just handed it to them. I can’t wait to be a part of it.

They play Bonanza High School tonight, a Las Vegas team who went 2-7 last year and 3-7 the year before. they have a brand new HC that only returns 4 starters on each side of the ball. its a young inexperienced team with alot of new kids playing, Bishop Gorman should roll and hopefully Martell has a big game. I know after last weeks game Martell is catching alot of flack for throwing 2 40+ yard passes trying to score again with 10 seconds left up by 4 TDs.

But those 4 are some tough hombres

Tyjon Lindsey returns in Bishop Gorman shutout win over Bonanza

Bishop Gorman quarterback Tate Martell targeted top receiver Tyjon Lindsey twice Friday night against Bonanza.

Lindsey not only caught the pair of passes, but also took them both to the end zone in his return from a shoulder injury suffered last month to lead the Gaels to a 42-0 victory.

No. 1 Bishop Gorman (Las Vegas) keeps in-state streak intact, readies for No. 9 St. Thomas Aquinas

Lindsey and quarterback Tate Martell connected on a 40-yard TD to open the scoring and a 30-yard TD a few minutes later.
