Las Vegas Raiders (official thread)

Gruden is a moron. Trade Khalil Mack, a good teammate and one of the truly top handful of defensive players in the NFL, just so you dont have to pay him, then turn around 7 months later and trade picks for a diva WR and give him a one of the biggest salaries at his position. I guess you are only allowed 1 rebuilding year, then it becomes win at all costs.
Well it's not like he had a diva WR in Tampa and shit fell apart right away oh wait.

Agreed to a four year, $66 million ($36.75 million guaranteed) deal with former Patriots OT Trent Brown, making him the highest paid offensive lineman in NFL history.
 Holy shittttttttt. This dude was a Niners cast-off that improved to "adequate" under a legendary OL coach. Gruden's just trolling everyone.
Jesus, he’s never even made a Pro Bowl
He's an average OL at best.

Gruden came back just to destroy the Raiders when they had a glimpse of a potentially decent team.
Traded Mack (one of the 3 best defensive players in the game) and Cooper (a good young receiver) because he didn't want to have to pay them, then traded for an aging receiver with a "personality" and made him the highest paid player at Cooper's position. Then signed a mediocre Tackle to the richest OL contract in NFL history. Is it possible Al Davis has come back in spirit form and taken over Gruden's body?

Nah, Brown and the tackle don’t run fast enough. Give me Heyward-Bey V2.0 in the top 10 and then we’ll talk.
