The express purpose of this thread is to keep a record of what we know is coming: the barrage of media disdain, opining that we plodding Buckeyes have no chance in the BCS-CG/Rose Bowl. Whichever Bowl it is, whoever the opponent may be, we will be given no chance whatever to stay within 47 touchdowns of our far superior opponent.

Instead of clogging up a dozen other threads with it, let's keep it here. Instead of lousing up the game thread with negativity, let's keep it here.
Instead of grousing about the media "bias", let's revel in it, here.

This one is a very pedestrian rehash of the old "WVU has way too much speed for those slow Buckeyes". Hardly worth a mention. I'm sure they'll do better as we get closer to kick-off.

Definitely worth a mention in this thread:
On College Football Final tonight, Lou Holtz went off on our OOC schedule for only the millionth time, saying it was just as bad as Hawaii's. That's not the "thread worthy" part though.

He then said that "OSU gets a pass for that schedule". That has to be as ridiculous as anything he's said all year; which is quite a feat.

Gotta love it! I mean, WVUs a great team, but does any "journalist" out there actually have the ability to praise one team without bashing someone else anymore? I guess we can't expect much more after last year's NC, so bring it on. Schlabach's got the pre-Bowl OSU bashing season off to a great start! Keep it coming!

Yeah, it's all our fault that Washington is not the same Washington team we originally scheduled 7-8 years ago. And maybe Holthz forgets we're also mandated to play one in-state school a year...

It's pretty much indisputable that the Buckeyes and our fanbase are the mosted hated team/group of fans in the country.

I just ventured over to the Oklahoma board on Scout.com and the sentiment over there is the Buckeyes don't deserve to play for the title, some even going as far as to say they'd rather lose the game than see the Bucks play in the NC game. I was pretty surprised to see this.

Mark Schlabach is a grad from Georgia and he covered the SEC. Never gonna get any love from SEC fanboys. Lou Holtz went to Kent State, he is probably still grumpy that tOSU didn't think he was good enough to play for TBDTITL.
