Aside from Demarcus Beasley and Deandre Yedlin, the fullback depth (or lack thereof) has been terrible. If the US had a moderately dependable back line, they are a top 10 team.

A world class holding mid to replace Bradley would go a long way, as well. Though I haven't completely hated what I've seen from Bradley so far.

I don't disagree with anything you're saying. Its the standing and watching that kills me. Guys are gonna get beat. Shit happens. But the next guy is usually what do I do? Uh. Mark/tackle the open guy with the fucking ball maybe?

Bradley is tough for me. He looks like shit sometimes. He looks great others and to be fair there's rarely space behind him. He's often the product of the either the guy above him or the matchup he's got and how comfortable he is with them. An uprade would be great but there's a lot of variables that go into saying he's garbage or not. I hate "formation" armchair coaching but he's better in some than others.

Omar Gonzalez and Matt Hedges is not a good CB pairing. Is John Anthony Brooks still rehabbing? Could use him, or even Besler from Sporting KC. Always thought he played well considering that back like was a constant revolving door when he was getting his opportunities to start.

Brooks, Besler, OGone, Cameron. Then we have nothing even serviceable

Bradley is the Andy Dalton of the US team. You always want to replace him, but the alternative can always be worse.

The fact that Bradley and Zusi are playing fullback is terrifying to me, because it means other than Yedlin we have zero even close to being ready for prime time back there
